;; Friend or foe?
"Who is alone now, will stay long alone,
will lie awake, read, get long letters written,
and through the streets that follow up and down
will wander restless, when the leaves are driven."

"Your heart is so heavy, and I pitied you for it.

Once.

Before I realized it is heavy because you have so much love. You are pained because you’re all the good in the world trapped in one body, breaking at the seams, and you’re a beautiful explosion just waiting to happen."

this movie was way too heavy for its intended age group

it’s actually really perfect for all ages because when kids learn this stuff early in life it stays with them

"It doesn’t matter if you`re the slowest kid in gym class or the fastest man alive, every one of us is running. Being alive means running. Running from something. running to something or someone. And no matter how fast you are, there`s some things you can’t outrun. Some things always manage to catch up to you."

                              the forest

Imagine the forest

Imagine each leaf as it grows
bolder each day, growing from
a meager bud to rounded shoot.
The leaf is not beautiful. We know
it. It’s short. stubby. Paled sickly
green and yet nature is beautiful.
Never critisised.

Imagine the forest

Imagine each branch in the night,
they’re gnarled claws without the
sweet magic of the sunlight kissing
cracked bark; no pearly moon could
drain away the sinister spark of each
hooked finger but every tree is beautiful.
every tree is loved by all who touch it,
like a glorious statue.

Imagine the forest

Imagine the roots that coil beneath
layers of it’s own rot , sinking deep
within the darkness and only to
flourish with such colour.
without the hardship of the frozen
bitten earth is it truly impossible to
grow with such grace?

Image the forest.

We eat at it’s siblings but still
the forest blossoms with gifts
for us, natural delights that we
chose to abuse- harvesting flavour
not fruit. These lonely figures so
full of life, and full of families-
they stand beneath the stars like
pillars holding up our sky.

Image the forest.

Isn’t she wonderful?
