”Is there a problem?”
roarton’s redeemed may, as a whole, tolerate
their mistreatment at the hands of the living,
but simon won’t.
no matter how subtly it manifests itself,
injustice is injustice, and he’d rather die
than let them silence him.

"Not that I’m aware of.“
A frumpy smile and the pagan is already back to
her previous actions, eyes locked onto his face
entirely. It could be rude…
but she’s not certain in fact, she’s rather lost
trying to pinpoint the colour of his eyes. Not
certain if it was improper to ask.
"I’ve decided yellow.”
“Not at all. It makes sense.
Hard to find people that practice what they preach these days;
your heart’s in the right place.”[ it’s a firm statement of his approval;
simon likes people that hold selfless values
in high regard.when he was alive, he’d meet people that talked
like this all the time - but
they’d be strung out
on one substance or another,
spitting venom at the world in slurred, peaceful voices.it’s not faith if you only pray when you’re high. ]
”So. You.
If you don’t eat like the rest of the livin’,
what do you eat?”

“I like to think so. Seems fair.
I struggle to find the same- my family believed in this life
but did not find it in their hearts to lead it.
I believe yours is in the right place too.”
{ It’s not the best compliment,
but in recent light it seems valid to express
her support.
You did not need to be human to be humane
although most did not feel the need to try.
Next came that dreaded question, one that’d
caused a riot behind glossy eyes- would it be
wrong to kill in order to survive? Consciously
kill another to replenish one’s own being?
Not if you did not abuse this choice. }
“I eat nuts, berries, plants.
Anything the forest can provide
but I must confess I kill animals to
eat but I believe although my cause
cannot be justified I honour those I hunt.”
“Chocolate. Jesus. Hard to remember what it even tasted like.”
“You’re not one of us - but you can’t eat chocolate?”
“I know. It’s a shame but I choice I’ve made none the less.”

“I can- I’m capable but I dislike eating things that are factory produced-
or kill our home, our planet. Cocoa is natural. The production? Not so much.
…….
I’m sorry is that rude?”
“The only thing I miss is the food, t’be honest with you.”

"I miss chocolate- it’s not the same
I know but I miss it ever so much.“
